Construction of 147 new villas is being undertaken along Broad Creek. Edgewater is this new anxiously anticipated waterfront community, off Marshland Road near the Cross Island Parkway. The first of the six residential buildings is expected to be completed next spring. Villa ownership is maintenence-free free and also includes a membership to the Hilton Head Country Club in Hilton Head Plantation. Plans also include a clubhouse with meeting place and fitness center, two tennis courts, an observation pier on Broad Creek, and a large waterfront pool.
